This course explores specific Human Conditions; what they are and how they can affect the planning and design of the built environment. Students will learn about, and how to identify physical, psychological, and cultural human factors, as well as obstacles from the environment. They will discuss and analyze the specific influences from these factors and how they can be considered throughout the design process. Students will then synthesize practical design solutions that are best for human health and wellness.
